Crash on Highway Kills Two Young Russian Women
Another tragic accident on Russian roads. On march 7, these two young students, L. A. and A. V. circulated in a Kia rio on the Moscow-Urfa highway. L.(the girl in a blue dress on the first picture) drove extremely fast. She did not see a truck stopped by the side of the road... Both girls died on the spot. They were 24 and 23 years old... Man I wish we had some more pics... But I don't get how in the friggin world they managed to crash like that?? I mean it looks like they were rear-ended but obviously they were the ones moving so wtf??

I wish we had more pics too and still digging... From what i understand from the crash, the driver saw the truck at the last second, braked hard, the car skidded, turned around and hit the truck from the back... |

They were hot in an old-school classy Cybil Shepherd kind of way. Though I wonder what really factored in their untimely deaths. They were "speeding". Were they under the influence? Young women having a blast, getting shit-faced and making the life-altering stupid decision of driving while drunk, happens everywhere and otherwise smart young women are not immune to making one stupid decision that ends up costing them big time. |

Before my above statement gets me deemed a "sexist", may I add that this happens to young men too. All the time. But the victims in this case were women.

I wonder exactly what sort of trauma killed the passenger. Her portion of the passenger compartment seems relatively undamaged and she was wearing her seat belt.
