Re: Corpse Discovered With Eyes and Lips Gone
Medically guys, this is a simple one. This is the result of buzzard activity on the face. The buzzard will go for the eyes and lips first, and will eat down to the bone. Looks scary and feels like a mutilation, but is actually cadavar bird activity. If it was a mutilation, the eyes would be removed, but not the lids and the tears on the lips and the tongue removed is common buzzard activity, especially if the mouth is open.

Re: Corpse Discovered With Eyes and Lips Gone
I thought the vultures wouldn't attempt to feed on a dead body - whether it is animal or human - until a certain amount of decomposition has set in. ? The guy didn't look that decomposed overall. I thought it was fake. |
