I suspect she suffered fairly savagely for a very short while. That thin, tight little cord was likely digging into her neck more than a bit and her getting her fingers stuck in there pulling at it didn't help much. But even with that consideration, she was almost certainly unconscious in less than 30 seconds. I expect she kicked the wall during the process, but we cannot know for sure. I have read several autopsy reports of hanging decedents bruising, injuring, or even breaking their toes or heels when they hang themselves too close to a wall. |
