Yeah its a very small amout of SKs who feel the need to taunt or even contact the police I can think of around 6 or 7 off the top of my head and thats out of thousands so that alone puts them in a category of their own.

In UK a Serial Killer that gets a lot of recognition is The Yorkshire Ripper he had people terrified for years and people mention him all the time but he stopped killing when i was a kid and I don't remember him being in the news and papers and all that stuff so hes a bit Meh for me but if i asked my parents or the generation above me they all mention him.

Just think of all the killers we will never know about because records weren't kept. It's not like serial killers magically appeared in the 1800s
