If u knew anything about piranha u would know its exactly the opposite.... Piranha only attack what is thrashing.... Its likely they stopped eating once he died and stopped thrashing....  |

 Since only his face and hand were bleeding, thats all they would eat... Cause of death is most likely drowning as a result of the attack... Doesn't look like they got to anything vital  |
