You know, I don't get people who take hostages. For all they know, they could take someone hostage who nobody cares about that has no friends, no family, no money to their name and then the police come and they all get blasted away for nothing. Hostage takers are no different than terrorists, they're like the worst kind of thieves and should expect to not get out of the situation they create alive.  |

That's why most take people who are worth something  as for the other guy yesterday who grabbed the woman from the church he was desperate as he was being pursued by the police. Those are the two main hostage scenarios you will find. To try to get the police to back off or to extort money. You're no Einstein are you.
