no one knows what actually happened. the dogs could have been threatened by the old man. he'd only had them for a few months and it takes longer than that to know a dog (i've owned 8 dogs in my life, i know). and pit bulls are OUTSTANDING dogs. they are kind and loyal. back in the day they were known as "nanny dogs".
