I could ask why you're such a nagging bitch who feels the need to respond with mockery, irritation, or complaint to more than 50% of the posts I've made in the past 4 weeks. Even if this girl wasn't looking directly at the truck, she could have probably seen it out of her peripheral view. I don't think she deserved this, but she asked for it by not paying any attention to her surroundings. When I'm walking alone and on my phone, I keep my music low and look up every few seconds to make sure I'm not about to walk into something

I might add the loud traffic surely muted the engine/exhaust sounds which emit from the front of the truck in this case. Also I doubt there was a reverse gear alarm sounding which are mandatory requirements here in the US. She damn sure would have heard that, those things are frigging LOUD. Young gal wasn't in the street and had her guard down at the wrong time. Very unfortunate and sad RIP :(

Alright I see people picking sides on this one. I SAY BOTH SIDES ARE RIGHT. The driver should be free of guilt from the carelessness of the (Very Young) teenage girl and also if you cannot see whats behind you when your backing out... get the fuck out of your Truck and check or as I always do, have a ground guide back you out. Good points for both sides though
