Yeah, you can see on the video that he knocked her over first, at which point she was probably still alive and stunned, but left her body mainly intact due to the low impact from the low speed. She was probably still trying to figure out wtf was going on about the time he backed the front tires right over her skull, which provided enough resistance to actually make the mixer cab elevate somewhat. Whether or not she deserved it due to her own negligence and stupidity, I expect it was a horrible and terrifying way to die. The video certainly makes it appear that she was likely still alive and conscious until the front tires went over her noggin. |

Did you watch the fucking video? She stood there in the middle of a construction area, clearly in his blind spot, while he slowly backed up nearly a dozen yards before hitting her and going right over the top of her. He obviously didn't even know she was there until her head went under the front tire and jostled the mixer. The driver was obviously watching his mirrors-that was clear because he backed up far too straight to have been doing it blind. They were simply out of his range of vision. His truck, on the other hand, all 15 bright blue fucking tons of it, was CLEARLY in the girl's field of vision the entire time. Or would have been if she'd been paying even an ounce of attention to her surroundings. It isn't like the driver came out of nowhere, clearing a corner at 75mph and splattered a crosswalk full of people. He was going in reverse for a considerable distance. The video makes it clear that this 'accident' was no one's fault but the idiot girl who couldn't be bothered to stop texting long enough not to die. |
