Re: 13 Year Old Girl Drowned in Swimming Pool
I took my ten year old daughter swimming a couple months ago, at a hotel pool. I was laying in the sun, she was in the pool. She's okay at it, but not too strong a swimmer, so after a few minutes I decided maybe I'd be better sitting up and keeping an eye on her, rather than laying back. Sure enough, ten minutes later I see her start to get in trouble, sort of sinking lower in the water, trying different strokes to get to the side.... I dove in and swam the width of the pool and sure enough she was getting pretty panicked and teary by the time I got to her. A dads instinct? |

Re: 13 Year Old Girl Drowned in Swimming Pool
In most Asian countries it is bad form to wear skimpy swimming gear in public, unless you're a hooker, so they often go in with jeans and long sleeved shirts on! And also to stop them going any browner in the sun..... |

Your absolutely correct when you say Dad's instinct!! She's really lucky to have you there protecting her because unfortunately in this day and age I think your Daughter is A minority when it come's to Parent's actually caring enough too Parent!! Good job Dad!! |
