Well yes, unfortunately for teenagers suicide and car accidents are common causes of death. Hanging just isn't that common for overall deaths, and it presents challenges for preparation and embalming.

I'd be very surprised if a 14 years old could knitted something like that. They look like any other crochet clothings that you can buy in stores to me. Growing up in funeral business, I usually see the parents picked out the clothes of their deceased children.

They alway do pedicure even on men at all the funeral homes I've been to.
Suicide is common during the holidays. And honestly I don't see any reason why this girl would be a challenge to emblem because she died of suffocation? The challenging ones would be the old, diseased or a very over weight person. I'm a licensed embalmer and funeral director and has done both funerals and anatomical embalming for science.

I've heard that hangings are difficult to embalm if done a certain way. It can block blood flow out of the head, and then it swells up. My mortician friend says it's common for hangings, drownings, and other suicides to be closed casket.

Sadly yes, my friend died at 21 in a car crash on March 8, 2012. I went to his funeral thinking I would hold up okay, but once I saw him in his casket I broke down. It's surreal seeing someone you know dead in their casket, it's a terrible feeling. I miss him, he was a good person...

not necessarily - if someone is capable of taking their own life, the thoughts are with them from around the age of 5-7
