A woman's bag being snatched on a running train was recorded. A twitter user claimed that the incident took place in the tunnel between Kalva and Thane, aboard the Indrayani Express from Pune to Mumbai. However, the Central Railways clarified that the incident has not taken place on the Central line.

In the video, the woman and an old man can be seen standing near the door. As soon as the train slows down, a young boy boards the running train, snatches her bag while her dragging her forward, and gets down and disappears, all in a matter of seconds.

Luckily, the woman escaped falling from the train as she was helped by the man standing beside her.
In a message, the Central Railway said, "It's not Indrayani express and not pertaining to Mumbai Division of CR on following grounds." They also released a list of pointers to make it clear that the video was not recorded on the Indrayani Express. They also pointed out that the tunnel gap and type don't match the one between Kalva and Thane.
