A woman was seriously injured after being attacked and falling from a bridge in Tefé, in the interior of Amazonas, on Tuesday afternoon. According to preliminary information, the attacker used a glass bottleneck to chase the victim during a fight over alcohol consumption. While trying to escape across the bridge, the woman ducked but was hit in the back and then fell from a considerable height. After the attack, the suspect fled. Bystanders provided first aid and called SAMU (Emergency Medical Assistance). The victim, found unconscious, showed vital signs and was taken to the city hospital. So far, her identity and health condition have not been released. The Civil Police are investigating the case, which could be treated as attempted murder. |
