Suspects Beating Wal-Mart Employees
ORLANDO, Fla. June 5 2008 Police released security video showing a brutal attack inside the Wal-Mart on Kirkman Road and Metro-West Boulevard. Matteo Terrasi said he was a customer at the Wal-Mart when he watched 6 men jump on two store employees a week ago. "Punching them in the face, brutally," he said. Orlando police said the two loss-prevention workers were trying to stop a shoplifter. The suspect ran out of the store, but minutes later he came back with a gang of friends who beat the men so badly they were in and out of consciousness. "You got 6 guys on one dude. It's just kind of a bad situation," Terrasi said. The suspects also took the victims' wallets before running off. No arrests have been made, but one of the victim's told Eyewitness News off-camera that he feared for his life. He also said he was upset because dozens of employees and customers stood there and didn't help. There was an Orlando police officer at the store at the time, but she was on the other side of the store. |

Re: Suspects Beating Wal-Mart Employees
Why in the world would no one help this guy. Too many people just stood there and watched. So sad.
