On the morning of July 18, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Ninh - Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Cam Ward, Quang Ngai - said that the police are investigating the case of a sugarcane juice shop owner who was lying in a hammock when someone stabbed him multiple times.

According to initial information, at around 2:00 p.m. on July 17, Mr. NNĐ. (52 years old, residing in Thanh Trung village, Dak Cam ward, Quang Ngai province) was lying in a hammock resting at his family's sugarcane juice shop when suddenly a person rushed in and stabbed him multiple times with a sharp weapon (a knife-like object).

Immediately after the incident, Mr. D. was taken to the Quang Ngai General Hospital 2 for emergency treatment. As of the morning of July 18, the victim was still being treated at the hospital due to severe injuries.

According to the family's camera, the perpetrator held a sharp object in his hand, walked from outside into the shop, then rushed straight to where Mr. D. was lying, swung his arm very hard, and stabbed him 4 times in a row.

At this time, Mr. D. stood up to defend himself and was stabbed three more times by the perpetrator. After stabbing the victim, the perpetrator immediately left the scene.

It is worth mentioning that at the time of the incident, there were two children present at the restaurant and had to witness the horrifying scene above.

Dak Cam Ward Police quickly arrived to investigate, search and identify the suspect who caused the incident as Nguyen Binh Trong (38 years old, residing in Dak Cam Ward). The suspect was arrested immediately afterwards.

Mr. Ninh said that initially, Trong told the police that before committing the crime, Trong went to the sugarcane juice shop and was cursed by his wife. Seeing that, Mr. D. told Trong to go home and not come to the shop again.

After returning home, Trong was upset about this and brought a weapon back to the sugarcane juice shop to seriously injure Mr. D.
