Russia, two men were arrested after a string of atm burglaries where the two men used sledgehammers and explosives to get to the money.
In several cases the two used the same white bmw but in a different colour as they used temporary spray paint before each job and washed it off afterwards at some carwash.

I did not know that you could blow an ATM open with explosives. The one's here in the US have an independent hardened vault where the money goes. I've never seen one successfully broken into.

I'm not sure if they're really good or the local cops just suck. Don't forget, in Russia they do have relatively easy access to fairly sophisticated military grade explosives...and lots of unemployed/underemployed explosives experts.
