Security Guard Trying to Get Out Of A Traffic Citation By Claiming He's A Cop
Jefrey Scott Schultz was pulled over by Doraville (Georgia) police Officer J.E. Lowe after passing a stopped school bus in 2017, but the situation escalated when Schultz said he was an officer. He refused to tell Lowe where he worked, Lowe's body camera footage tells the whole story. ![]() Schultz was fired by the Hapeville Police Department in 2007, but now has a security company and has retained his peace officer certification. In a statement to Channel 2, Doraville police said, “We believe our officer acted appropriately as evidenced by the finding of probable cause by both a DeKalb County Magistrate judge and a Grand Jury for the arrest and indictment, respectively.” The thing that gets me the most out of all this is, forget the fact he's no longer a police officer. Let's pretend for a moment he is still a cop. Like the video I posted a few days ago, it's not fair that many cops get off the hook for crimes they commit, simply because they're a cop. They should be treated like everyone else, actually no, they should be held to a higher standard than everyone else. But that would be in a perfect world, and we all know that world doesn't exist. |
