I agree with you in a way, but he did ring 911 to inform them why he wasn't stopping. People panic in these situations, especially if it's a first child and the woman is screaming in pain. The cops were complete pricks.

Not too long ago around my neighbourhood here in Australia, a similar situation arose; speeding car, cops pulled them over for speeding. And you know what they did when they learned the situation of the pregnant woman about to give birth? They escorted the husband, driving ahead of the car directly to the hospital so they could go straight through all intersections unimpeded. I swear (some? most?) American cops are so fucking retarded these days it's beyond disgusting... |
