After more than 4 hours of negotiating and chasing, Vietnamese Provincial Police successfully rescued a 9-year-old girl who was kidnapped from a drug-addicted man.

A man riding a stolen motorbike broke into a house and when entering the house, the subject held 2 knives (like a meat cleaver) and forced T, a 9 year old girl to go up to the 2nd floor, then demanded a motorbike and money to escape.

Immediately after receiving the news, the police arrived at the scene. At the scene, the subject made many demands, constantly holding a knife to T's neck, threatening her.

Using professional measures, after 4 hours and 30 minutes of negotiating and chasing, the police force rushed in to control, arrest the subject and rescue T. to safety.

The 41 year old kidnapper, VPT has 3 criminal records, and the rapid test result showed that the subject was positive for drugs.

The subject illegally used drugs leading to being high on drugs, illegally detained people, and robbed property. Currently, the police force is continuing to question the subject to clarify the entire content of the case.
