July 3, 2019. Chino PD were conducting a narcotics search. 49 year old Li Xi Wang, was hiding behind a door unarmed for several minutes even after police entered the room, as they were exiting Sgt. Derek Bishop (now retired) fired his weapon killing Wang. A settlement of 3$ Million was paid to Wang's family. The house was a marijuana grow house seizing 1,500 plantsand $35,000 cash.

3 million could have bought a lot of body cams. Also the murder got to retire? Why is it when cops accidently kill an innocent person they retire but if I accidently killed someone I'd go to jail?

Ones job is to legally kill people and even if it's an accident he is a nuisance to cops so better dead then alive

I fail to see where the "accident" happened. It should just read as....

"Police kill a man hiding behind door."

If seeing a motionless person behind a door scares you to the point that your first instinct is to shoot at it, then he shouldn't have been in law enforcement in the first place.

I don't think he was one of the law enforcement officers that came from a military background.
