LA SWAT Shoot Man Barricaded in Home, Charging with a Knife & Skateboard
March 9, 2024. LAPD responds to a call regarding a male named Carlos Zapedea broke into their family home and beat his mother with a stick. After police arrive Zapeda quickly locks the door and refuses to exit, threating to kill officers. SWAT arrive and throw chemical agents into the home for 2 hours in hopes he would exit. Once Zapeda exited the home he was brandishing a 9 Inch knife and Skateboard. Zapeda was sent to hospital and treated for his wounds.

I’m not sure if police are issued fully automatic rifles. My guess would be semiautomatic.  |
