Operation Miranda: Leonard Lake and Charles Ng Murders, Wilseyville, 1984-1985
Leonard Lake and Charles Ng held victims at a property in Wilseyville, California, during a series of murders in 1984 and 1985. Lake's scheme became popularly known as "Operation Miranda." Investigators searching the property recovered a buried videotape showing Kathleen Allen and Brenda O'Connor with Lake and Ng. Lake died by suicide in custody a few days after his June 2, 1985, arrest in South San Francisco. Ng was arrested in Canada on July 6, 1985, and extradited to the United States in 1991. An Orange County jury convicted him of 11 first-degree murders on February 24, 1999, and returned a death verdict on April 30, 1999. The jury did not reach a verdict on the count involving Paul Cosner. The California Supreme Court affirmed Ng's convictions and death sentence on July 28, 2022. The captivity scenes featuring actors are dramatizations, not the original 1985 recordings. Archival photographs show Lake, Ng and the Wilseyville property.  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |

Brett Gelman ntsf SD SUV and heart on Adult Swim that's the only things I ever saw him in that were worth a damn the last I heard is he rub some people the wrong way on that channel and they axed his ass.... But if they were going to make a real film about Leonard Lake they would definitely have to get him play the part. |

Is this the actual footage from their home movies cuz I know there was a a cheap ass movie made a couple years back about them and I tried to watch it one night but it sucks so bad I only wash like the first five minutes so I was just wondering if this was from that movie or was this the actual real footage from the operation Miranda  |
