Police are searching for the man who stabbed two people at a laundromat in the Bronx, leaving one victim dead.

The attacker was spotted carrying shirts as he walked into the 303 Laundromat at 2:42 a.m. Thursday in the Claremont section. Once inside he stabbed two men and ran off southbound on College Avenue.

A 47-year-old man was stabbed in the back. He was taken to Lincoln Hospital in stable condition. Another man was stabbed in the legs, torso, and back. He was pronounced dead at Lincoln Hospital.

The 47-year-old victim told police he is homeless and was sleeping inside the laundromat with his friend when the stabbing occurred, sources say.

Police found two meat cleavers on the stoop outside the laundromat hours after the attack. It is unclear if the suspect knew the victims.

So far, there have been no arrests. The suspect is described as in his 30s, 5'8" tall, 140 pounds, and wearing a green and black shirt, black pants, and a black and white hat.

Actually, several recent news reports from NYC have identified the victim in the video as a homeless man nicknamed "Flaco," who apparently died from his wounds (looked like a femoral bleed-out IMO). The surviving victim was stabbed off-camera and transported to hospital in stable condition.

Flaco was well known by the owner of the laundromat and locals. The owner allowed Flaco to sleep inside in return for keeping the business and parking lot cleaned up.

Yeah, I think you're correct, a source I found claimed it was the injured man who was stabbed in the footage, but I have since found extra info corroborating your post, so post updated.

I knew this man personally from a town north of NYC. He had his struggles but was a good person, it's sad to see him get done dirty like this. RIP Pichin
