Well, it's back to the firing range...

OKLAHOMA CITY, (April 26, 2024) — Oklahoma City police opened fire on a man who pointed a gun at officers on Friday night.

Police said when the suspect raised his weapon, all six police officers on the scene shot at him in self-defense. The suspect was not hit by the gunfire.

This all happened at around 10 p.m. on Southeast 54th Street near Shields Boulevard. Police said callers contacted 911, saying the man was outside shooting a gun.

When they got there, police said the man walked out of a house holding a gun. When he didn't drop it, officers shot him with a less lethal round.

That's when the suspect raised his weapon at the officer, and they opened fire. He was not hit and ran back inside.

He later came back without his gun and surrendered to police.

Police said three of the officers on the scene were rookies with just eight months of service each. All six are now on paid administrative leave, which is standard for any officer-involved shooting investigation.

No one was injured in the ordeal, which ended with the arrest of Juan Castorenna-Guerrero.

This tracks. Cops seem to really suck at their jobs. I saw a downed suspect get ahit at by 6 cops. Three feet away. In the sand. Most shots missed. It was ridiculous.
