FATAL: 18-Year Old Crashes Vehicle Multiple Times, Flees with Bag Full of Guns
November 26, 2021. According to BCSO, the suspect Elijah Riche, 18, was driving erratically and hits vehicles at the intersection of Montano and Edith BLVD. Riche drives off as one deputy goes into pursuit. Riche crashes his vehicle into a business and flees the vehicle. He returns to the vehicle to grab a bag full of weapons. He than runs down a street with the bag and an AR-15 weapon. A second deputy arrives on scene and gives chase in his unit. Riche turns back from where he ran from and starts to run back. The deputy exits his vehicle and gives commands to drop his weapon. Riche says No. The deputy fires one shot and strikes Riche. Riche screams out various statements about the shooting. He was taken to a local hospital where he died from the gunshot wound. |

Re: FATAL: 18-Year Old Crashes Vehicle Multiple Times, Flees with Bag Full of Guns
A weird as it is to shoot someone running away it seems like this time it was a good choice. First he had a weapon in his hand and even though he didn't point it at anyone I'm sure the officer thought if he got anywhere else he could have harmed or killed someone else. And once all the weapons were recovered I'm sure that same officer feels better knowing they all probably stopped another raging teen mass shooter. |
