If he didn't have a holster that remained open (did not flatten) when the gun was removed, then he was asking for something like that to happen. Or worse, if he was carrying without a holster (like with a gun-mounted clip that does not protect the trigger group), he once again made a bad choice that led to this negligent self-shooting. I've been carrying for 20 years. I always carry a holstering-solution that protects the trigger group -and- allows re-holstering/re-concealment with one hand and requires no "fiddling" with the holster to do so. Carry safe, my friends.  |
