Re: Off Duty Cop Drops 3 Month Old Baby During Robbery Attempt

I'm not seeing what the good guys did wrong. The bad guy pulls a gun on the good guy carrying the infant and points the gun at the infant. The good guy drops the infant and pulls his own gun and shoots at the bad guy while he flees the scene. The other two good guys grab the infant and run to cover. Looks good to me. Nothing is ever perfect and when the guy carrying the gun is taken out of commission then no one is safe. Dropping the baby seems like the logical tactical thing to do in this case...would you have rather him held on to the child? Don't forget, the good guys were just minding their own business when the bad guy started all this. I think you're being a little unrealistically hard on the good guys. How many gunfights have you been involved with?

better that baby received a small bruise than the guy gets shot to death. he HAD to draw the weapon...worked out well for him, and the kid(who presumably will grow up with a father now)

Babies bounce. Bullets penetrate. I think the right choice was made.

He's a fuckin pussy. I read a few of your posts and you consistently make excuses for every incident in favor of the police, I'm not a "police hater" as you seem to label anyone who disagrees with your opions. Looks like your habit of bending the truth when you were on duty had continued into your retirement. Go stick your gun in your mouth

Apparently he was trained to run, and not protect the citizens

Re: Off Duty Cop Drops 3 Month Old Baby During Robbery Attempt

What is a good guy to do when, out of nowhere, something like this happens?

The perp created an almost impossible situation and it was split second timing after that.

The good guy did the best that could be expected considering the circumstances.

I'm glad the kid's ok.

(Lovin' that 'IGNORE' function. Just added another imbecile mindf*cker cop hater to the list. )

Yup...never blame the bad guy for what he caused to happen...just critize the off duty cop or armed citizen who was forced by circumstances to react and defend his life and the lives of his family. And because we know nothing about actually being in a real live gunfight, we will blame the victim for the manner in which he defended himself and his family. You call always tell the leftist anti-police folks...they're the one who'll tell in the first one or two sentences that their not Leftists or anti-police. I'm with you...another dipshit (a member since 2009 and still a Private) added to the blocked list. What a hoot!
