Motorist Runs Away Leaving Behind His Son & 7 Pounds of Marijuana & $80.000 in Cash
Police said that video shows a father running away from police and abandoning his 6-year-old son.
Monroe LeBeau was stopped in Milton and police said when they began questioning him about the smell of marijuana coming from his car he took off running, leaving his son behind with seven pounds of marijuana and thousands of dollars in cash.
A police report said an officer clocked a car driven by the 28-year-old LeBeau at 49 mph in a 35 miles per hour zone.
Milton police say LeBeau tried to carjack 2 cars before he was arrested.
Police say that in addition to the crying child, LeBeau left the marijuana and about $80,000 in vacuum-sealed packages.
LeBeau was charged with obstruction, attempted robbery, reckless conduct, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, seatbelt violation, speeding and failure to maintain lane.
Police say LeBeau was booked into the Fulton County Jail, and his son was placed with a relative.

Never should have had child in there with that in the first place,
Glad the father didnt take the police on a high speed chase that could have easily ended fatal.
