Re: Woman Shows How to Steal Jewelry from a Store
not worth the risk, not for one little gold bangle.... the switch is the one to look out for...when the criminals buy cheap copies of the rings you have in your shop window and attach matching tags, then when you show them a few rings they distract you (maybe by having someone else come in and make a noise) and when your eyes are off the jewellery they switch the rings....you won't notice until you pick it up to replace it, at whcih point the weight should let you know you've been ripped off.... i have the cctv footage of a chick trying a distraction technique to grab a £34000 ring and put in in the papoose she was carrying her baby in....luckily my colleague saw her make the move and hustled her out of the shop...i'll convert and upload it later. |

At a store i worked at we sold xbox 360 and other electronic stuff. The scam, boy electronic equipment like xbox 360. take it home and open case, remove interior contents, refill with exact weight and return. We lost 3 xbox 350 by this methode. it wasn't until the returned item was re selfed and bought. the new owner is wtf! a brick. they can't return it, how would believe them? |

Yeah that's also a good way to get a new system should yours go out right after the fuckin warranty expires or they just give you the run around about fixing it like they usually do. I swapped guts once but never anything like that. Fuck big business.

Re: Woman Shows How to Steal Jewelry from a Store
My junky friends I had when I was a teenager simply used the receipt scam. You go in, buy a TV, get the receipt, go back in with the receipt, pick up the same model television, show the receipt to the person at the door and walk out with it. Then you return the original TV and voila...free TV. Not sure if it still works nowadays. |
