A drunk man with a knife attacked a Moscow Metro security inspector, the suspect was detained.

According to preliminary data, an inspector did not allow two drunk men to enter the metro at the station "Ulitsa 1905 Goda", a conflict began, during which one of the passengers attacked a metro employee.

"Then the attacker took out a knife from his pocket and began waving it and stabbing the inspector, threatening to kill him. Eyewitnesses tried to calm the troublemaker down and reported the incident to the police.

The police officers who arrived at the scene detained the man, who turned out to be a 41-year-old resident of the capital.

A criminal case was opened under the articles on assault and threats to kill (116 and 119 of the Criminal Code).

A protocol was drawn up against the detainee and his companion under Article 20.21 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (appearing in public places in a state of intoxication).

The suspect was released on bail and under an order to behave properly.

The victim was taken to the city clinical hospital, where he received the necessary medical care. The man's life and health are not in danger.


In December 2024, two passengers of the Moscow metro fought in the passage between the Petrovsky Park and Dynamo stations, one stabbed the other in the chest. One of the participants in the fight, a 27-year-old young man , took out a knife and stabbed his opponent in the chest. The victim was hospitalized, his health was seriously injured.
