Granted stealing is wrong--there is an underlying issue why people steal food--Hmm maybe their hungry?

Maybe they're hungry cos the food vouchers went on something else? I hope that food didn't go back on the shelf, I wouldn't have wanted to be eating meat that had been down some guy's pants, regardless of if it was wrapped.

Drug addicts often steal joints of meat. It's relatively high cost, and is easy to sell on. Sadly here in the UK it is becoming more usual to see meat security tagged. Iceland have security tags within the product labels - even bacon that retails for about £4.00!

Having worked in retail, I am in no doubt that the meat went straight back on sale!
