I see that critical thinking and an understanding of sarcasm is not your strength.

Re: Man Shot Dead by New Jersey Police
I believe that you may be slightly confused. The initiating officer, the one who approaches first, requests the second officer, the white male, to remove the driver of the vehicle out of the suspect vehicle. According to logic, why would the initiating officer request the secondary officer to remove the suspect, the one who is shot, from across the vehicle and across a compliant driver and through the drivers side door? If you have a verbally and physically non-compliant person in a vehicle, you usually try to remove any compliant persons out of harms way while keeping good cover on the primary suspect. After the compliant persons are removed and the situation is controlled, then direction of force can be used to effect arrest on all non-compliant persons. This is if there is time to execute such scenario. Have you had a lot of guns being pulled on you? If so, please educate us as to how you reacted. I can personally remember every time I have been shot at. I can also remember all the times I have had guns and knives pulled on me. It seems that you usually have a very limited knowledge of how a situation can go from static to dynamic in a matter of milliseconds. You very well may know something that I don't. If you have something positive to add to this reply to your original post, then please do so. Being an armchair quarterback does not mean that you know how to play the game. It does tell me a lot about you. |

Re: Man Shot Dead by New Jersey Police
Certainly didn't help that our black cop friend lost his cool so quickly. But it doesn't excuse the fact that the passenger was a complete and utter fucking tool, and got exactly what he deserved. Stay still, show hands? Nah, I'm going to move, open the door, and jump out at a cop with a gun. Fucking genius. |

Re: Man Shot Dead by New Jersey Police
He obviously was reaching for the gun, popped out of the car in an agressive manner after repeated warnings not to and was shot just as the officer explained he would be. Completely justified. As to the photo and the sob story about his son, I would like to say that his 3 year old son needs to see this video as an indtruction on how not to behave at a traffic stop.
