ya know the worst thing about most child abuse cases? The little munchkins usually trust the person who hurts them. Like a poor little kid will get kicked down or slapped, and while they are crying they will usually follow the person who just hurt them, they don't know what else to do. They know that they hurt, and they are crying, but they also trust that the person who hurt them will also make the hurt go away. I feel so bad for little children in homes like these and the sad thing is there are so many of them that go through this and worse. Little kids are small enough to still be innocent, they don't deserve this kind of treatment.
