Re: London, UK - Man Shot on Ring Doorbell Camera.

Still happens less there than in America. Your point?
My point is it's an island whose citizens scream to the heavens about how they're gun laws are the bestest ever whenever something happens in America.

It only holds until this stuff leaks out. There's a special task force specifically because gun violence is becoming more common in the UK.

It's all well and good to subjugate your citizenry... until a subset of them learn that having something no one else can get gives them immense power over everyone.

Also, the rates of burglaries with occupants in the home are a bit more than doubled because no criminal fears retribution from a person. Not only can they not shoot them, but the laws are so ludicrous that the homeowner can be punished for protecting themselves.

Not entirely true... There's been several incidents where homeowners in England have killed intruders and sometimes it hasn't even made it to court.

One incident happened about five years ago, a 60+ year old retiree stabbed a burglar to death in his house with a screwdriver... If I remember correctly he stabbed him once or twice in the chest and he bled out in this guy's kitchen or hallway. Police brought him in for questioning and to get a statement.

He was in a cell for about a day and the Crown Prosecution Service dropped the charges as they deemed his actions were reasonable. (Long story short, there was planned protests if they did press charges as the entire country was up in arms that he got arrested in the first place)

Other side of the coin, there was a businessman who came home to find his family tied up and he chased them away down the street, and he ended up bludgeoning one of the intruders in front of several witnesses with a cricket bat to the point that the intruder had severe head injuries including a fractured skull, bleed on the brain etc, and ended up causing the guy life changing injuries such as mobility issues. Homeowner got dragged through the courts for that, and ended up getting jailed for nine months as the court disagreed with him chasing the intruder and beating him half to death in front of witnesses in broad daylight.

Famous last words.

Oh, deluded soul, is this what the teach in school now? As UK refuses to keep the migrants out, they will not be able to keep smuggled firearms out. And every illegal gun will be in the hands of bad people. Watch and see as the laws of human nature play out and unarmed citizens are victimized, as history repeats over and over and over.

I have a Ring Tactical which shoots at random door knockers who aren't on the list.
