Re: LAPD Shooting.
On May 16, 2025, around 12:55 p.m., Los Angeles Police Officers responded to a call of an Assault with a Deadly Weapon (ADW) in the 7800 block of Beck Avenue. The comments of the call indicated the suspect, 23-year-old Jose Gonzalez Ramos, had stabbed his wife multiple times. When officers arrived at the multi-unit property, they were directed by witnesses to a pathway that ran between units. There, they encountered Ramos, who was advancing toward the officers with a knife raised in his right hand, resulting in an Officer Involved Shooting (OIS) and the deployment of a 40mm less lethal launcher. Ramos was struck by gunfire and fell to the ground, where he was taken into custody. After the OIS, officers continued down the pathway, where they found the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. The Los Angeles Fire Department transported both Ramos and the stabbing victim to a local hospital, where they both died from their injuries. A knife was recovered from next to Ramos and booked as evidence. No officers or additional community members were injured during this incident. Justified. hope he rots in hell. |

Re: LAPD Shooting.
Caller: "Black, I mean hispanic." Lol. Also, crazy how nice the police are to someone who is basically dead, calling him "Bud" and "buddy." Am I the only one who finds that strange? If your defense is that your life felt threatened, and you shot him out of self defense, then why would you call him "buddy" afterwards? Because you're sorry? I'd be super mad if someone made me shoot them, not sorry. I don't get it, it's not like it was an accidental shooting, it was a full blown "I'm gonna kill this guy" shooting. And rightfully so, he had a knife and lunged at them after killing the woman. But I don't get the manners. |

Re: LAPD Shooting.
There have been perps that were shot and look dead, only to jump up and attack cops after they approach. That's why it's SOP to cuff, regardless of perceived condition. There was a really good vid years back that showed exactly this happen, but I just can't find it anymore. |
