beating him to death was obviously not necessary...but he was apparently a really thick headed fucking retard. He shouldn't have died but its hard to have much sympathy for someone who so blatantly pushes buttons in a place like that. I have a feeling if the cops didn't get him another inmate wouldn't have taken his shit.

Pretty clear the boy didn't do as he was told and stay against the wall. Looks like he was warned at least twice. What was the boy in jail for anyway? Now his relatives will win a lawsuit and all get x-boxes and be able to dine at KFC every day for the rest of their lives.
