Colombia. Psychologist Catherin P.T., 27 years old, is still fighting for her life, after being attacked with a firearm by a man on the evening of last Sunday, March 22, while she was talking to her mother on the terrace of her home.

Despite being pregnant, she was hit by two bullets. Seriously injured, she was urgently transported to a medical center, where she remains in intensive care.

Her baby was born prematurely via an emergency c-section. She is currently being cared for in a neonatal incubator and is reported to be in stable condition under medical observation.

The woman's health condition today remains critical and she is still fighting for her life under strict medical observation.

The authorities are considering two hypotheses. A possible settling of scores or a personal conflict, however, investigations into the terrible incident are ongoing. Reports indicate that she had no known prior threats against her life, making the motive for the targeted attack a central focus of the inquiry.

I feel horrible for her mother to have to watch her kid get shot and her grandbaby is still in the womb. Pretty sad occurrence.
