"I was driving home from work following this guy. We came upon a stop sign. (except right turn)

He didn't signal a right turn so I moved to the right to avoid having to stop. He then turned right prompting me to break quickly to avoid him.

Several minutes later at the next red light he went into the left turn lane then got on my six (behind me) and followed me for a while.

Once we hit a long red light he got out of his car and approached me. I remained calm for two reasons.

One. I was filming.
Two. I had a pistol in my lap under a coat. (I have a conceal carry license)

If the window broke and he assaulted me, I was going to protect myself. I called the police shortly after. Turns out he also called the police claiming I hit his car. Cop came to my house to check my car for damage and he found none. I didn't hit the guy. Showed this video to the officer and gave him a copy on a thumb drive.
I spoke with the police later on and the guy was charged with Simple Assault."

Driver being assaulted took the right course of action considering the douchebag didn't break the door window. If the assailant had broken the window, all bets were off. Assailant would have died that day and it would have been one less asshole on the road.

Good job staying under control. Another reason I am happy I drive with front and rear facing cameras. I had a mini van, with broken sliding doors, that kept opening and closing. Any ways he runs a red light but stops half way through the intersection, then proceeds in reverse, trying to make it look like I rear ended him. Then he noticed the camera, flipped me off and took off. I of course did not hit him, nor him me, he saw the camera before hand. Then we meet at the next red light. He then gets out of his POS van yelling and screaming, and oooppps he didn't see the cop at the donut shop on the corner, who of course came out. I gave him the SD card, and he went to jail. Had a warrant. Waiting for court, for my part in the whole arrest episode.
