Re: Guy Gets the Water Canon Treatment
That was a hoot! What would have been even funnier, was when he turned his back to the water cannon truck, they hit him at half pressure...kinda like a circus clown fire extinguisher routine. Then they could've just kept watering him with low pressure and then when he got really really mad...they hit him will full pressure. |

Re: Guy Gets the Water Canon Treatment
In the old days those police water cannon trucks spewed out a mixture of water and a very potent form of tear gas (I think CS or CR? Gas) that had a very strong invisible UV dye. Then, they'd go around with a portable UV light and arrest everyone that had the invisible dye stains. As I remember the tear gas would actually make you sick...not like regular CS or CN gas...I think it was called CR or DR(?). In fact I think someone like the UN outlawed it's use in riot situations. I don't know if it was supposed to be used in the US at all. I vaguely remember my agency having a stockpile of this more nasty form of tear gas when I first started in the 1980's. I think it had a purple or violet color code, but I could be wrong. I want to say that CS gas canisters had a blue color coded stripe, CN gas had a red color coded stripe, and OC gas had a orange color coded stripe. I don't remember what the smoke grenades had for color coding, but I think it had a stripe in the color of the smoke it expelled. I think that the British forces got in trouble in Northern Ireland using the CR gas and the UV dye...and as a result they outlawed that gas. Just an FYI from my memory vault of obscure stuff.
