France - Woman Tries To Kill Husband

"A woman is in custody after a man fell two stories from a building in the Caucriauville district of Le Havre. The scene was filmed by a passerby, and the video posted on Twitter. An investigation for attempted murder has been opened by the prosecution.

A 50-year-old man fell two stories this Sunday through the window of a building in the Caucriauville district, the emergency services were notified shortly before 8:30 p.m. The prosecutor of Le Havre announces that a woman, a priori his companion is in police custody, and that an investigation is opened for attempted murder . The scene was filmed by at least two people, passers-by. On the videos (the video shows images that can offend the sensibilities), we see a man clinging to the window jamb, feet in the void. In the frame, a woman appears, she speaks to him loudly, we can't clearly hear what she is saying to him but it looks virulent. At no time, over the few tens of seconds that the films last, does she try to hold him or help him. On the contrary: one has the impression that she tears his hand from the railing he is grabbing at.

The man falls two stories in a cry , he falls on his back on the roof of a Coccinelle Express convenience store, the building is at the corner of rue Fourier and avenue du 8 Mai. On the video, the woman does not seem moved by the fall, she watches him fall and closes the window.

14 firefighters and the SMUR were mobilized to rescue the 50-year-old man, it was necessary to use a ladder to evacuate him from the roof. Another man was slightly injured trying to help him, it is a neighbor who witnessed the scene from his apartment and who jumped on the roof, he was hospitalized. The authorities do not communicate for the moment on the course of the facts which led to the defenestration, nor on the orientation which will be given to the investigation. But a photo, still on Twitter, shows a seal placed this Sunday with the mention of the offense "Attempted homicide on spouse"."

Re: France - Woman Tries To Kill Husband

LOL. Frenchman driver takes cell footage. Whines a complaint. Then drives away in panic, apparently afraid the french woman will respond with an unbearable insult.

Re: France - Woman Tries To Kill Husband

he suffers from a fracture of the pelvis and his ITT has been set at a minimum of 100 days.

The victim, 42, would have voluntarily stepped over the edge of the window, in the context of an " argument " with his partner, aged 40.

Videos recorded by witnesses made it possible to establish that the man had let go when his partner touched his hands, without having at any time expressed the intention to come to his aid, details the press release.

Initially placed in police custody for " attempted murder ", the woman will be referred during the day for acts reclassified as aggravated willful violence (on a spouse or partner and under the influence of alcohol) having resulted in an ITT greater than 8 days.

Unknown to the courts, she faces up to 7 years in prison and a fine of 100,000 euros , and will be placed in pre-trial detention until her hearing on July 7.
