The 54-year-old man who was shot in the neck in the assault on a greengrocer's in the Matienzo neighborhood of the city of Córdoba regained consciousness . They took him off mechanical ventilation, although his condition is still serious . The thieves who shot him after holding him down and throwing him to the ground, in a crude image recorded by a security camera, are still at large. The victim, Felipe , had gone with his partner and his father to buy from the store. He and the woman waited outside, in his truck, until three criminals forcibly lowered him, believing that he was the owner of the grocery store. They pointed the gun at him, forced him to enter the business, threw him to the ground, put a gun to his neck, and began to demand that he tell them where the money was. One of the criminals held him by the neck and left him face down on the floor. "There you stay!" he yelled at her. The victim, who knows the place, told him where the cash register was. They emptied it and, as they fled, they shot him. |
