Re: Family Sues Police After Son Shot Dead
Our country is not defined by this fat bitch of a cop. At some point someone felt she was qualified. Who knows? Where do you get off trying to rattle the US with your belly aching?

Re: Family Sues Police After Son Shot Dead
Three things that get me about this video 1: The female cop shoots him as he is apparently running off 2: Afterwards, you clearly se the male cop pull out a taser and point it at him. If he was unarmed, why shoot him with a gun? This just goes to show the reckless gun-ho rootin tootin ridiculous attitude of Americans and their gun culture 3: How the fuck are these people allowed to be police officers? Look at how fat they are! If these people tried to join the police force here in the UK, or indeed anywhere in Europe, they would be laughed at and turned away. How are they gonna chase anyone? Or pass a fitness test? Or fight and subdue drunkards in the town at night? Or do they just shoot everyone in America? Sort your fucking shit out America. Seriously. <iframe width="480" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Wmiyol_AM7A" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Disgraceful
I totally agree. I understand from a cops standpoint situations can get stressful. I have worked in the law enforcement field before. There were times I wanted to blast away because I felt angry. But I never did. My last job in the states was for West Port Public Safety, actually a privatized police force working with the Kansas City Police Department to police West Port, a night club district. We had many of the same powers as police, even dressed and carried all the same equipment as them. One night an 80 year old lady who worked as a store greeter at night was mugged and robbed. The "gang banger" gave her quite a beating. I personally knew her; she gave me free coffee and food every time I checked on the store. I was actually the first responder and the first officer to locate the robber around the corner from the store. He was a punk kid, 17 at the time. When I drew my weapon and told him to get down, he taunted me. I holstered my weapon seeing he had none and took out my asp. When contact was made, he attempted to fight me, so I beat him, stomped his cell phone to pieces. I was fired. Not only that, I was blackballed from working any other job involving law enforcement in that city. I admit, I was angry, and I took it out on him. But never did I think of shooting him, or killing him. I had been in many situations before that where I could have even shot and killed a suspect who was armed, and been justified. I always won without firing a shot. So, I totally agree. And I do so from a personal stand point. |

Re: Family Sues Police After Son Shot Dead
I love how he was following direction and got on the ground, and then immediately man handled by the officer just coming on the scene to cuff him. For NOTHING! Told to get on the ground For NOTHING! He was disrespected. Who wouldn't want to fight back?

And I do so from a personal stand point.
So basically they took a police officer like you from the streets and let the prancing whale cops out there? All you said there shows me you are dealing very well with your shit and the kid maybe needed an extra beat, even though you maybe wasn't supposed to I think firing you was way too extreme, a little suspension or whatever would be more suitable as I believe and you didn't comment, you didn't have any other record of abuse. Now that is a perfect example of how police nowadays are not prepared at all to "reinforce" the law out there, not only in USA, I'm from Brazil and the police brutality there is absurd. They ARE supposed to be trained how to deal with extreme situations and the purpose of training is to APPLY this procedures during the real deal. They did not followed the standard procedure of arresting a man, they did start punching the guy several times and I believe that was the reason why the guy punched them back. Then as we all can see Mrs Pac-lady took the wrong weapon, handled it incorrectly and ended up killing an unarmed citizen. Sadly this will end up just like all the other crimes, swapped under the rug of impunity and we will carry on with our lives just waiting for the next stupidity to come out public. |

Re: Family Sues Police After Son Shot Dead
Just another white guy who's life was of no value. I saw this growing up and still see it. If you are white you better not run or they will shoot you in the back. Nothing new I lost a good friend like this when I was 15. At the same time any black that was beaten up the city was burned down. If these cops had shot a black kid running away on camera can you imagine the outrage, the protests, the riots? A double standard exists. this cop was wrong! If I had shot someone who just hit me but was running away at the time I would get 20 years in prison. But the cop can do it...explain this to me. |
