According to the Federal Highway Police, the driver abondoned the car and fled after police tried to intercept him on the Transbrasiliana Highway. He remains at large.

The Federal Highway Police are looking for the driver who abandoned a car with marijuana tablets in a corn field after being chased on the Transbrasiliana Highway, last Wednesday.

According to the corporation, the team was following the route, when the driver was ordered to stop. He disrespected and there was persecution. However, the suspect entered a corn field, abandoned his car and was not found.

Police initially reported that there were 500 kilos of marijuana seized. However, at the end of the count it was found that it was 250 kilos.

The case is still under investigation.
