Glad to know that the dog was not destroyed for its behaviour, since it didn't hurt anyone and demonstrated perfectly good behaviour whilst in the pound. Was released back to the owner, with orders to ensure its yard was secured appropriately, and attend dog training classes. Would like to see more level-headed decisions like this being made in regards to animals in the future...
