Disgruntled Customer Smashing Devices in Apple Store
A disgruntled customer in France entered an Apple Store in Dijon yesterday and calmly smashed devices in front of Apple staff and customers. At least 10 iPhones were smashed with a boule metal ball (used in a French bowls game), alongside a MacBook Air. French media reports suggest the angry man, who actually calmly smashed devices, was complaining about his consumer rights and a refund. The man appears to have been detained outside the store, and there are no reports of injuries apart from the broken Apple equipment. Hopefully the angry man purchased multiple AppleCare protection plans, otherwise that's going to be a costly bill for thousands of dollars of property damage. |

Re: Disgruntled Customer Smashing Devices in Apple Store
And to think I have to go to that lovely country next year. I'm accompanying my kids on a school trip to France and the UK. That way, I at least have a chance to stomp threatening terrorists/hotheads like this. Either that or we all blow up together as a family. (Honestly, I'm sure we'll be fine and have a great time. Nobody will get stomped and I'll get to enjoy fine wines, cheeses, and sample some strong-ass cigarettes. |

There's 1 lesson to be learned here, apple makes earbuds that can make even there most upset customer still wear them.
