Tuesday, 02 Jun 2009, DALLAS A woman driving the wrong way on the Dallas North Tollway crashed head-on into another car late Monday night, said the Department of Public Safety.

Troopers say 28-year-old Jenny Hall's SUV was first spotted driving northbound in the southbound lanes around the Wycliff Ave. exit.


But she continued for a few miles, dodging several oncoming cars, according to terrified witnesses.

Finally, Hall smashed head-on into a car near Walnut Hill Ln. about 11 p.m. Both vehicles exploded into a fireball, said witnesses.


"It was one of the scariest things I've ever witnessed in my life," said motorist Andre Dowd, who was driving just behind the victim's car. "It could have been me. I'm just in shock."

Both Hall and the other driver, 25-year-old Carl Lotspeich of Addison, were pronounced dead at the scene, said DPS troopers.


Investigators say there was evidence found in the Hall's car that indicated she may have been drinking.

i just found out about this today
i was a supervisor at circuit city in mesquite and carl was my LG rep for the tv's and audio systems. the panasonic rep told me about him today. i cannot believe what has happened! im in total shock! GOD bless him and his family!
