CALIFORNIA | 8 Cops Unload on Shooting Suspect

ANAHEIM, (April 16, 2025) — Anaheim police and fire responded at about 7:45pm to reports of a shooting and gunshot victim at the Kona Motel located in the 300 block of N Brookhurst Rd.

As officers arrived at the motel, a white pick up truck matching the suspect vehicle description, pulled out of the motel parking lot. Officers pursued the vehicle at high speeds through multiple cities for nearly an hour. Several PIT maneuvers were attempted which damaged the suspect's truck and causing him to lose control then crash into a concrete median.

As officers converged on the white truck, an officer involved shooting occurred. The shooting suspect was killed at the scene and a male passenger escaped harm.
