The incident happened shortly before 8 p.m. on Wednesday. The victim, identified as Jesus Carozzi Martinez, 36, was reportedly shot multiple times, and prosecutors have now opened an investigation into the shooter for attempted murder. It is not known how serious Martinez’s injuries are. Martinez went to police with gunshot wounds to his chest and arm and was then transferred to Casimiro Ulloa Hospital. Authorities have arrested the attacker and an investigation is underway. The Public Prosecutor’s Office in Peru posted on injured by gunshot wounds in a shop in Miraflores.’ |
