Re: Bodycam Video of Officer Being Shot Multiple Times
Not Monday morning 'quarterbacking' here but I was somewhat surprised the officer positioned himself squarely in the door frame of the driver's door, allowing the driver to get off a number of quality shots. I've always made it a practice to remain behind the 'B Post' forcing the driver, if he were to choose to commit a harmful act, to turn 45 degrees in his seat to get a shot off at me. Of course watching that movement, I would have had plenty of time to retreat to the rear of the vehicle and set up a fighting position should the driver decide to exit his vehicle to engage me. As some pointed out, this guy was very calm as he called dispatch, advising them of his status. Notice how he reloaded fairly quickly in case that bastard decided to return to the scene? Just wish he would have used better tactics before the event. |

Re: Bodycam Video of Officer Being Shot Multiple Times
I had a bad incident with a cop being a real asshole tonight.. still wouldn't wish this on him.. Relative parked in a fire lane at the store, the officer waited for us to load the vehicle..pulled up/in alongside and started flipping out on us.. bit my tongue, smiled, apologized..and carried on with what I was doing.
