Bandits Robbing People on the Bus and Set the Bus on Fire
Bandits set fire to a bus in Brazil, on one of the main avenues of the city. Three people were injured. Video taken with a cell-phone shows the desperation of people trying to open the bus doors while the bus was set on fire. The concern was that there was still someone inside the vehicle. The doors were forced open and glass broken. The bus CCTV camera recorded all the action. The recording shows that the bad guys arrive and enter through the back door and front door, trapping the passengers. While some steal handbags, mobile phones and the cash box, one spreads fuel across the floor of the bus and ignites it. The driver was trapped by the flames, he jumped out the window. The passengers most part also managed to escape, but the conductress and a man who was sitting next to her, would have been last and could not get out in time - had burns and were taken to the hospital. The boy had minor injuries and is already at home. The conductress is hospitalized with first and second degree burns on her legs. The driver also was hurt when he jumped out of the window. The fire came so close, that burned hair on his head and body. Police say the action was premeditated and was a retaliation for the killing of a drug dealer in the region, which took place at dawn. Three youngsters and a man were taken to the police station, suspected of participation. Two criminals are still being sought. |
